XP-8xx7-CE6 series is the new generation ISaGRAF PAC of ICP DAS. It equips with an AMD LX 800 CPU (500 MHz) running a Windows Embedded CE 6.0 operating system, various connectivity (as the table below) and 0/3/7 slots for high performance parallel I/O modules (high profile I-8K series) and hot-swap serial-type I/O modules (high profile I-87K I/O modules).
The Professional OS version of ISaGRAF XPAC, XP-8xx7-CE6-PRO, provides built-in Internet Explorer Software to monitor and/or control the local/remote I/O modules, no extra PC needed. |

- Major Advantage (Compared with the WP-8xx7 and VP-2xW7) :
- The USB mouse operations and Ethernet communication of the XP-8xx7-CE6 are more effective than the WP-8xx7 and VP-2xW7. (Consume less CPU loading)
- The memory size (Flash and SDRAM) of the XP-8xx7-CE6 is much more than the WP-8xx7 and VP-2xW7.
- The Professional OS version XP-8xx7-CE6-PRO can run its own Internet Explorer to monitor/control the local/remote I/O modules. (The Standard version XP-8xx7-CE6 requires running Internet Explorer in PC to monitor and/or control the local/remote I/O modules.)

The I-8093W is a 3-axis high speed Encorder input module. It supports max. 4M Hz input signal for pulse/direction and cw/ccw input mode, and supports max. 1M Hz for Quadrant (A/B phase) input mode. Please refer to the following web site for more I-8093W hardware information.

There are generally a lot of general purpose devices to integrate with the central system in factories and offices. A card reader with an RS-232 interface is set outside of the door and far away from the central system. A device server enables the card reader to communicate with the central system by converting the serial RS-232 signal to Ethernet protocol. A PLC controlling lights, buttons and air conditioning call for multi-COM port connections. Through Ethernet, we can extend transmission distances. PDS also features programmability. Rooms can light up automatically just as someone is about to eneter. PDS and DS are great serial to Ethernet solutions. DS-712 is equipped with RS-485 and ethernet ports.
PDS-742-IP67 is waterproof and dustproof.
PDS-782-258 is designed for easy wiring. PDS-775 is equipped with 7 RS-485 COM ports at one time.
Chickens in coops randomly step on scales while walking around. An RFID tag has been put on their feet. The chickens weight and RFID tag information is logged. The information is sent wirelessly to a computer using
zigbee technology. The control center is located on the other side of the chicken coop and is equipped with
zigbee converters for data acquisition. Programmable device servers are used to gather data from a bunch of zigbee converters. The latest profile of chickens can be pulled up on computers. The effective distance of the
zigbee network is 200 meters. Whenever an obstacle is presented, data can pass it with the
zigbee network. Up to 65,535 nodes are allowed into a
zigbee network.
Zigbee converters are suitable for wireless transmission and industrial control.
